Reserve Unit

The Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office has 2 units of volunteers that are an invaluable asset to the department and the citizens of Lincoln Parish.

The Reserve Unit provides additional safety and security to your community by augmenting the man power of on duty deputies.   These men and women take great pride in the Sheriff’s Office, their unit, and the services they provide to the citizens of Lincoln Parish. The reserve deputies participate in all aspects of the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office to including enforcement duties.   They provide a vital role as the security for most sporting events and other special details requiring an on-site law enforcement presence.   All of the reserve deputies are professionals who have sought a rewarding part-time career in law enforcement. These volunteers participate in the same training and continuing education that is required of your full-time deputies.   This training ensures they are qualified to perform enforcement duties or any other task assigned to them.
